Construction works on Crown Street between Oxford Street and Campbell Street are continuing.

We are currently working along the southbound parking lane and footpath between 288 Crown Street and Campbell Street.

Our construction work for the week commencing 4 September 2023, weather permitting includes:

• Continue partial footway, kerb and gutter works between Taggarts Lane and Campbell Street
• Continue paving from corner of Little Oxford Street to Campbell Street
• 24 hour road closure at Taggarts Lane from Crown Street on 7 September to 6 October with detour via Little Oxford St, Denham St and Campbell St
• Commence drainage and trenching works across Taggarts Lane
• Remove barriers and begin site set-up across the road in the parking lane between 265 Crown Street and Campbell Street
• Commence partial footway and roadway works within noise-reducing echo barriers between 265 Crown Street and Campbell Street

We will work to minimise impacts during this time, however there will be some machinery noise, temporary restrictions to parking and temporary changes to pedestrian access. Residential access will be available during the Taggarts Lane temporary road closure, as well as access for Zest Apartments carpark and garbage collection.

Traffic control will be available on site for the duration of works to assist pedestrians, cyclists, businesses and car users. Customers will be able to access businesses during our works. Please follow the directions of traffic controllers at all times.
