Construction works on Crown Street between Oxford Street and Campbell Street are continuing. We are currently working along the southbound parking lane between Little Oxford Street and Taggarts Lane.

Our construction work for the week commencing 7 August 2023, weather permitting includes:

• Continue site set up along Crown Street towards Taggarts Lane
• Excavation of existing kerb, gutter and roadway in the parking lane
• Continue trenching along the parking lane within site set up
• Install conduits and pits
• Backfill and prepare base for kerb stone

We will work to minimise impacts during this time, however there will be some machinery noise, temporary restrictions to parking and temporary changes to pedestrian access.

Traffic control will be available on site for the duration of works to assist pedestrians, cyclists, businesses and car users. Customers will be able to access businesses during our works. Please follow the directions of traffic controllers at all times.
